Description

In this episode I have the privilege in talking to Nahanni McKay. She is a Métis artist living in Banff, AB. and is also an activist fighting for decolonization and emphasizing on taking back the land that she grew up in. In this conversation, she and I talk about how when we compare ourselves we tend to feel jealous and envious. We also talk about the importance of names, especially when it comes to land. I also share with her my interpretation of one of her pieces, Hole 8. I hope you enjoy this conversation! Check out Hole 8 on her website! Link below!
