Luke O’Shea has won a lot of Golden Guitars – sixteen – and two of those were won this year for the song ‘South East Queensland’ and its video, which O'Shea co-directed with Jay Seeney. The last time O'Shea won a Golden Guitar for a video it was only last year, for ‘Long Way round’, performed with Ashleigh Dallas and the video also co-directed with Seeney.
O'Shea has now reunited with Dallas for the single ‘Next Best Thing’, which is also the title of his forthcoming album. They are a fantastic pair, bringing joy and depth to their joint projects, as they do to their solo work. O'Shea is always interesting to talk to and this time we talked about 'Next Best Thing', making music videos, songwriting and more.
