Description

Emma Lane joined me in person for a special Christmas episode. In addition to sharing her research journey she also shared her Christmas wish list as a PhD. From “accidently” becoming a cardiac Physiologist to her stubbornness in pursuing her development to become a researcher, Her journey is filled with inspiring moments, an interesting perspective on who makes good researchers and of course all she wants for Christmas!

Top 3 Takeaways

1) Ask why, be curious when faced with anything you wonder about.

2) Expand knowledge, look for ways to take what we do know into places where we do not know.

3) Have moxie; the energy and persistence to go after what you want.
