Dr Alice Strang Steel is an equine vet working with Dukes Equine Vets in Aberdeenshire, providing routine and emergency care. She has been team vet for the Scottish Endurance Team for the last two years and involved in some of the stud work for the late Queen’s horses at Balmoral.
Join us as Alice shares her story from the family farm to becoming a vet, her passion for horses, and the amazing impact they can have on our physical and mental health. Alice talks about the importance of relationships and trust, some of the big issues facing the veterinary profession at the moment and how she helps instil confidence in vet students, as well as the story of how she coordinated a whole rescue operation of a pony stuck in a ditch!
