A different start to this episode of the “It’s All Music Podcast” as the lads kick off with a song, which isn’t normal for them but as Carey says “what’s normal”.
Heavy use of toilet paper has Carey in a bit of bother but somehow that leads the lads on to chatting about a music documentary they watched based on Irish boyband Boyzone. *Spoiler alert if you haven’t seen it…a good honest documentary into what it was like for the lads in Boyzone being so young starting out seeking a career in music.
The lads swing back to when Carey worked in the Co-Op as a young fella and toilet roll comes up in conversation again…he’s tormented leith toilet roll!
Loads of chat, stories & laughs in between & as usual a couple of songs thrown in near the end with Quirky playing one or two of his own songs showcasing how he uses “drop D” tuning in songs that are not necessarily in the key of D.
