Description

Success: noun

Some people have the inborn qualities to be a successful entrepreneur, and others work to develop these qualities.

Quality #1

Passion.

Without it you’re done before you get started. It’s not enough to have a great idea. An idea without passion it’s like a boat without an engine. It looks nice but it’s not gonna go anywhere. And if it does it’s going to drift there.

Quality #2

Self-discipline

The ability to master your inner self and your inner emotions to generate a sense of responsibility of getting the job done. Self-discipline is what gives you direction. It’s the thing that kicks in when your motivation runs out. Think of it as the engine and that boat.

Quality #3

Risk taker

Entrepreneurship is all about taking risks. Entrepreneurs have the ability to take greater risks to achieve greater success, but not all risk-takers are successful entrepreneurs.

If you are risk adverse, you’ll lack the courage to jump.
