Description

ON THIS week's podcast, we are joined by Ballinascarthy camogie players Clara Crowley and Siofra Patwell after the club won their second county title-in-a-row.

After winning the Premier Junior Camogie Championship title in 2024, they followed it up with an Intermediate Camogie Championship victory in 2025 after beating Sliabh Rua in the final.

Bal will play second tier county camogie (premier intermediate) in 2026 joining fellow West Cork clubs Newcestown, Enniskeane and Clonakilty.

Crowley and Patwell were also part of the Carbery camogie team that competed in the senior championship this year, emphasising their quality along with the rest of their teammates.

Also on the show, we look back at an action-packed weekend as Ilen Rovers drew their Intermediate A Football Championship final against Ballinora, meaning a replay will be required.

Bandon hurlers are made to wait for their county final to take place once again after Aghabullogue won their football final against Uibh Laoire.

There were also county championship wins for Kilmacabea, Ibane Gaels and Glengarriff.
