On today's episode, we're heading to a Low Shoulder show, trying to find a "cute" outfit to wear, and also trying to figure out why our best friend is puking black sludge onto our floor, while revisit the absolute horror cult classic, Jennifer's Body (2009). This movie was written by Diablo Cody, and directed by Karyn Kusama.
This movie stars Megan Fox (Transformers, Hope & Faith), Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls, The Dropout), Johnny Simmons (Evan Almighty, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), and JK Simmons (Whiplash, Juno)
This movie is a great example of a cult classic, because it was wholly misunderstood when it first came out, and has enjoyed a reappraisal in recent years regarding the feminist themes in the film, and I completely love that for this film. This is a great example of a female-led movie, and this movie has such an unique story and voice to it, that it's completely worth a watch for any horror fan!!
