On today's episode, we're heading to Camp Arawak in our shortest of short shorts, playing an excellent, bitchy game of volleyball and baseball, while at the same time, trying not to get murdered while we revisit the absolute cult classic horror film, Sleepaway Camp (1983).
This movie stars Felissa Rose (Return to Sleepaway Camp, Victor Crowley), Jonathan Tiersten (Return to Sleepaway Camp), Christopher Collet (The Manhattan Project, The Purge), Mike Kellin (The Twilight Zone, Lost in Space, Starsky and Hutch), and Katherine Kamhi (All My Children, Ghost Whisperer, The Fosters)
This film is absolutely NUTS and has such a storied history with how the film portrays gay and trans folks. All in all, it's definitely a movie that is unlike any other one I've ever seen before, and I think for any horror movie newbie, it's definitely worth a watch to just bask in the absolutely terrible glory of this film.
