I got my broken record player fixed and the first song it played was Frank Sinatra's "You Make Me Feel So Young." You likely know it.
It got me thinking about how the missing piece - the "preamp" or preamplifier - got rid of the problem, which was distortion. And then I thought about how resilience performs the same function. It gets rid of our distortion by providing clarity.
The lyrics of the song tie it all together. When we're resilient, we "bounce the moon, just like a toy balloon."
