This week I sit down and chat with Drs. Tamara John and Kojo Marfo, subspecialized orthopedic surgeons practicing (together) at Comprehensive Spine Center in south Florida. Kojo attended Howard University College of Medicine with our host Dr. Steven Bradley.
We talk about how they matched into this incredibly competitive specialty. They also share how their relationship grew over the course of their training and practice, ultimately culminating in the practice they share.
This episode features fantastic advice for current medical students. They share how you can make an incredible impact on students, even in a private practice model.
If you are interested in becoming an orthopedic surgeon or perhaps building your own practice someday, then this episode is for you! If you are struggling to find that special person during medical school or residency, hang in there!! There's still hope!
