Mandisa grew up in a farming community in the Eastern Cape and her first experience in the tourism industry was working at the Pumba Private Game Reserve. She moved to Cape Town to pursue a career in the tourism industry, and her first job was at the Cape Grace Hotel. She then went on to work at Booking.com, where she was trained in digital marketing and the science behind it.
Mandisa has since registered her own business, Molo Mhambi Relations, with the mission to help businesses tell their stories and grow more relevant while staying authentic to their African roots. She believes that businesses should be culturally sensitive and conscious of their biases, and should have values that are aspired to by everyone in the business.
