Today's episode is with one of my oldest friends Tilly! We met on our first day at Uni and the rest was history!
I've always admired Tilly for being someone who throw herself into situations outside of her comfort zone, which is why I wanted to get her on the podcast! In this episode we discuss Tilly's decision to go travelling alone for 4 months and the biggest lessons she's learnt from that experience. We also discuss the problems she faced coming home from travelling with a newfound confidence to then land herself in a job in a very toxic environment and how that took a toll on her mental health. Tils also bravely decided to move to South Korea in 2018 for a year to teach English - and we discuss her experience moving abroad by herself to a country that is culturally very different to the UK.
We also discuss the importance of female friendship and having an amazing mum to look up to!
