In the latest episode of the FILMS I OWN BUT HAVEN'T WATCHED YET podcast, a special spin-off from WN MOVIE TALK PODCAST, I dive into another film from my ever-expanding DVD collection. This week, I randomly selected the Clint Eastwood western "Unforgiven." Join me as I watch it for the first time and share my review!

Unforgiven (1992): Directed by and starring Clint Eastwood, this critically acclaimed western also features Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, and Richard Harris. The film follows retired gunslinger William Munny (Eastwood), who has left his violent past behind to live a quiet life as a farmer. However, when a group of prostitutes in the town of Big Whiskey put a bounty on the heads of two cowboys who disfigured one of their own, Munny reluctantly takes on one last job. Teaming up with his old friend Ned Logan (Freeman) and a young gunslinger known as the Schofield Kid (Jaimz Woolvett), Munny faces not only the ruthless local sheriff, Little Bill Daggett (Hackman), but also his own inner demons. "Unforgiven" is a powerful and introspective take on the western genre, exploring themes of redemption, violence, and the complexities of justice.
