In today’s episode of the Tranquil Awakenings Podcast, Debbie will be in conversation with Alison Cooper-Moore who is a spiritual medium and psychic.
During this podcast Alison talks about how she had an awareness of spirit since being a young child, however, she quickly learnt from her parents’ reactions that it was not something that was acceptable to discuss. As an adult however, she returned to these gifts, working hard to develop them to become an integral part of her life.
Alison now works with others to help them develop their psychic and mediumship abilities as well as giving readings.

BEST MOMENTS
- “ I've always known I can see spirits but I just assumed that everybody else could as well. So, when I was younger, people would be in my house, people would move things and it was just, Oh, I'll put it back. I didn't think anything of it.”
- ”I remember once going to see a medium and she did my palm and she said, you could do this, you know, and I thought, yeah, they tell that to everybody.”
- ”We knew she was in there. We knew she was bothering the dog. We knew that she was touching things, but I thought, well, it's okay. She's fine. She's not causing any trouble. And then one night, she really shoved my shoulder hard. I reasoned in my head, maybe it isn't that, maybe it was just a muscle spasm.”
- “ My mum was dying and I held my mum's hand, I said, Mum, show me who's with you, and I could see everybody that was waiting for her.”
- ”I was speaking to my nana when I was about nine. I spoke to my mum and said, I've been speaking to Nana. Mum cried, Dad got angry, shouted a lot. I thought, oh, we don't speak about this kind of thing then. So I didn't speak about it again.”
