Description

In this episode, Debbie engages in conversation with Susan Kenlea, who is a psychologist. After a difficult childhood, Susan left school at fourteen years old, to begin working in the city. Whilst working she took herself through her A levels, before going to university to study Psychology. Working excessively to achieve her goals, in time she became unwell, her body attacking itself, leaving her close to death.

Through this experience Susan began to work through her childhood, searching for ways to heal herself and get her life back. More recently she suffered from a horrific experience of extreme negligence regarding an operation (which is a difficult listen). Throughout these experiences Susan remained resilient, determined to get her mind and health back so that she could dance again and enjoy her life.
