In this episode, Debbie delves into the idea of soulmates and soul groups beyond just romantic partners. She believes that sometimes we have a strong connection or unease with someone because they are part of our soul family. Debbie compares these connections to a tree, with each person representing a trunk and others as branches. Through her work, she has explored connections between people in this lifetime and past ones.
Each soul plans its own journey before coming to Earth, including choosing lessons to learn, how to go about them, and who to connect with during their lifetime. Debbie uses the metaphor of a tree, where each leaf represents a member of the soul family as in order to learn and grow, we need help from others, who can be our soulmates or karmic soulmates.
Soulmates are people we choose to help us fulfill our lessons, while karmic soulmates are those with whom we have a karmic debt to balance. Karma is simply about balance and can be created through both good and bad actions. When we're in between lives, we plan and choose our lessons and the people who will accompany us on our journey. Join Debbie as she explores the deeper meaning behind soul connections.
HIGHLIGHTS
The mother would come back being harsh and cruel and negative to see if that would finally push the daughter into becoming her own person, gaining her own identity and finding her independence.
And we called forward the soul energy of the individual that is her mother in this lifetime. And we explored together what had been going on. Now, what was revealed to this client was that in many previous lifetimes, she'd had the lesson to learn of becoming independent and she was failing to get it.
And there was something very transformative and very healing about having that different level of understanding. Now, since that time I've come across many people and sometimes there's no connection.
However, I was unfamiliar with the idea of really being a soul or past life work and it's through going on a therapeutic journey of training to be a therapist that it began to open my eyes to this way of thinking.
So I feel exploring relationships is a fundamental part of spiritual and self development. So as I'm talking about this, some of you will get it, some of you will think that makes so much sense, it will resonate.
