In this episode Giana and Bradshaw talk about whether or not yoga teachers should teach poses that they themselves cannot do. It is never black and white and so they detail different scenarios and talk about pivotal memories during their more formidable yoga student years. Bradshaw explains how teaching things he can do easily is actually a challenge for him, whereas Giana talks about one of her big “AHA” moments from a teacher who could not do a pose she taught. This topic leads them through tangents about why challenging poses are necessary and what an advanced practice means.
