Can business be a force for peace ? That is the question. Can companies help solve the most complex political issues in war-torn countries, do they and should they have a say ? And where would it all start ? At school most probably. In business schools more precisely. In fact this idea is the root of today’s episode. Can a business school like HEC play a role in times of war ? Our guests today strongly believe that it can and that it should. They view our campus as a laboratory of intercultural understanding and peace, a place open to all and concerned with global politics. You’ve guessed it, today we are hosting two members of HEC Imagine, a very young and refreshing initiative that was just launched in September of last year. Oscar Franz is the director of communications of the society and Zaid Kasem is one of the very first Imagine fellows, originating from Syria and currently reading his first year of masters at HEC.
