The production itself is eager to lean into the drama, editing the show so it seems like Maddie overhears Candy Apples bringing up the controversy. The production is really starting to push on Cathy's nerves, how much more will she take?
And unfortunately for Christi the Clue performance might not have more to offer outside of some impressive Bow-ography (imagine Christi doing Madeline Kahn's flames on the side of my face monologue if you want to picture how this development was taken).
