Sammy has written books like The Oral History of Hollywood, Improv Nation, The Big Goodbye about the making of Chinatown, Fosse -- which was adapted into an award winning limited series, Fosse/Verdon -- as well as Fifth Avenue 5AM, Audrey Hepburn and the Dawn of the Modern Woman. Currently, Sammy is writing a book on Francis Ford Coppola. Sammy breaks down where Hollywood goes wrong, how he yearns for the halcyon days of yore, regaling me with tales of the glitz and glamour 1970's movie studio days, specifically relating to Paramount Pictures and infamous feature producer, Robert Evans.
