On this episode of Write Who You Know, I sit down with Oscar-winning writer/director/producer/actor, Will McCormack! Will has an incredible journey starting at age 7 when he won a poetry contest in his New Jersey hometown. From there, Will has traversed all sorts of creative outlets, including acting as Jason Melfi on The Sopranos, popping up in TV shows and films, and co-writing CELESTE & JESSE FOREVER and TOY STORY 4 with his longtime co-collaborator, Rashida Jones. In TV, Will has EP'd/written on shows like A to Z, CLAWS, and KEVIN CAN FUCK HIMSELF. More recently, Will co-wrote and co-directed the Oscar-winning Best Animated Short in 2020 for their Netflix short, IF ANYTHING HAPPENS, I LOVE YOU with Michael Govier. On top of that, Will continues to write/produce/direct under his Le Train Train banner with Rashida through their First Look Deal with Lionsgate.
