Obviously, our answer to this is YES. But this lawyer comes onto national TV to explain why it's not possible. There are 100,000 convicted sex offenders currently on the register (walking our streets), and to put them all in prison for life would come at an astronomical cost that no one is prepared to pay for. Alongside the fact that our prison capacity is 85,000 and it’s already full with other criminals.
