In the final instalment of our gangster film theme, we go back to Asia to check out Andy Lau and Alan Mak's, Infernal Affairs. Starring two of TVB's Five Tiger Generals, this 2002 film hit waves all around the world, eventually being adapted into Scorsese's The Departed. In this one we have a chat about the differences between Infernal Affairs and its western counterpart, the amazing performances of Andy Lau and Tony Leung, and the interesting stylistic choices of 2000s Hong Kong cinema.
