YO WHAT'S UP! And we are back with another episode of The Movie Newbie! On this one we are going with a 1990s classic, Titanic. Starring a young Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslett, with a supporting cast including Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Bill Paxton and Francis Fisher, this movie captured the hearts of millions everywhere. On this one, we were pleased to have another guest and friend of the show, Neringa Mikutytė. We have a chat about the incredible breadth of production for this movie, the impressive sinking scenes and the astounding use of special effects. We also discuss some of the more dated aspects of this film and its' female gaze themes, but somehow managed to forget about some of the big scenes. You'll hear all about it on this one.
