Jump in at the deep end and give it a go! This is my chat with Sara Wilkins of Richlas Productions.
It is often taken for granted that people just do it for the love of the arts but you also have to know your craft even if you are not sure what the next project will be. Sara talked about how she overcame her difficulties during the pandemic to put together a short film. Putting women at the center of her stories, her attention to detail is great to hear and it brings layers to the projects she works on.
Every actor likes to push themselves but likes to be comfortable with what they are doing and Sara took time with her actors to go through what they need to do to deal with sensitive issues but also empowered the actors to talk to each other about their levels of comfort filming such scenes.
