Description

In this episode, we cover two haunting cases from Tasmania that remain unsolved to this day. First, we look at the tragic 1995 murder of 20-year-old Italian tourist Victoria Cafasso, whose body was discovered on a remote beach in Beaumaris. Despite one of the largest investigations in the state’s history, her killer has never been found.

We then turn to the disappearance of 26-year-old Nancy Grunwaldt, a German backpacker who vanished near Beaumaris in 1993. Leaving her family with no justice and investigators with a difficult case that has never been resolved.

Together, these two cases highlight the dangers faced by young travellers exploring unfamiliar places.
