Nine years ago today [May 7th] Mansfield Town had their eyes on glory, taking on Darlington at an Amber and Blue soaked Wembley Stadium – fighting for the FA Trophy. Arguabley the worst Stags side in recently history had defied the odds to reach the final, and played out probably the dullest cup final ever to grace the national stadium. The Stags, in true Mansfield fashion, we’re beaten right at the death in Extra Time, but today in these lockdown frustrating times – we’re looking back on Wembley Way, Wembley Woe with the latest instalment of Quizcast!
