As the rain fell to mask our disappointment at last weekend’s typical defeat at the hands of Harrogate, we thought our chances were slim – but thanks to a very late Crewe penalty last night, the Stags have not one but THREE – mathematical chances to finish in the play-offs after all!
But, being mathematical equations means it’s not just as simple as winning – Clough’s men need to rely on ONE other team LOSING (draws will not be enough) whilst they themselves need to score X amount of goals dependant on which team slips up to match.
Tonight we’ll delve into all of that as we ditch the virtual world for my back room, to recap another Horrible afternoon against Harrogate, awards, belief and more.
