Land of the Lost (2009) is a comedy-adventure film about a disgraced scientist named Dr. Rick Marshall, who gets sucked into a time vortex with his research assistant Holly and a redneck survivalist named Will. With the help of a primate-like creature named Chaka, they embark on a wild and dangerous journey to find their way back home while uncovering the mysteries of this bizarre world.
