Virgin Radio is celebrating Black History month with a series of shows presented by Mykaell Riley, he was a founder member of the British roots Reggae band Steel Pulse and he also formed The Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra, Britain's first black pop orchestra. He is currently Senior Lecturer, Director for The Black Music Research Unit at the University of Westminster.
This week it's the story of UB40, one of the UK's first multicultural bands. They formed 1978 in Birmingham, they've had over 50 hit singles in the UK and have sold more than 70 million records worldwide. Founding members, Robin Campbell and Jimmy Brown tell the story of their extraordinary career.
