Description

In this introductory episode I tell you about how I discovered Greek Mythology and what it means to me and we meet our first rebel heroine, my favourite: Ariadne. Princess of Crete, sister to the Minotaur, abandoned wife of Theseus and beloved wife of my favourite Greek god, Dionysus. I share some original poetry inspired by Ariadne and Dionysus and give you some great book recommendations to learn more about this extraordinary woman and how her story is still relevant to modern times, touching on themes of sexual awakening, empowerment, and embracing your wild side. Content warning: strong language, mild explicit content, references to violence towards women.
