Description

Foreign accent syndrome is a syndrome that occurs typically caused by stroke or brain injury that causes the individual to speak as though they have an accent from a different region or country. Interestingly, this syndrome is entirely subjective, as it is the listener who interprets the speech changes as a different accent.
