1 Corinthians 12:12-27
Father God has created each person with gifts and passions to serve others, and with areas where each person needs to be helped and cared for. Jesus created the church so that all the people work together and fit as a united whole—where strengths and hurting areas come together. The great joy comes when we serve together as co-laborers to minister to others as Jesus’ people.
Key verse: For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many…. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:13, 14, 27)
