Hebrews 11:8-13
Having spent decades growing stable faith in Abraham and Sarah, we see how stable faith works. In four instances, God calls this couple to move forward in faith based on the promises God gave to them. Because these promises will be experienced in part and not in their totality, their faith trusts God to ultimately fulfill all His promises, which He does in Jesus.
Verse: All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. (Hebrews 11:13)
