Fuelled by an awful relationship with his father, Manchester born teenager, Leroy Griffin, runs away from home. Taken under the watchful eye of Jacob, a travelling funfair owner, Leroy gets a job on the waltzers as the duo venture around Europe. From France to Spain they galavant their way around without a care in the world, but when Leroy discovers Jacob has a Voodoo doll of his father, he comes to realise it wasn’t his Dad who was to blame for their troubled Dad and Lad life together.
