The Bell Witch haunting is one of the most well-documented supernatural occurrences in American history. It tells of the haunting of the Bell Family of Red River, Tennessee over several years, attacks focused on the head of the family John Bell and his daughter Elizabeth known as "Betsy". The cause of the activity was reported to be by a Witch called "Kate" who had developed a vendetta against John Bell.
