In this section of Luke's Gospel, we consider the words of Jesus - and the example of His disciples - which show the importance Jesus places on Hearing His Word and putting it into practice. That is what it means to truly be His disciple. We are shown this in the example of the sacrificial followers, the parable of the Fruitful soil, those who shine brightly for Him, and those who are called Jesus' True Family.
