As we read of the people crossing the Jordan River into the land God had promised them, we see 3 aspects made clear for us:
1. WHAT happens (the people cross the river)
2. HOW it happens (only God can do it, and the people must follow)
3. WHY it happens (faith is built and God's fame spreads)
Alongside all of this, is the important instruction from God for the people to take steps to make sure this event is REMEMBERED by His people, and that's another key lesson for us as His followers today
