After coming back from a holiday break, the gang welcomes the Christmas season by recapping NCIS: LA Christmas episode Season 9 Episode 11 "All is Bright". Then we head back to New York City for our true crime that shares similarities with this episode. In 1977 New York City was not the glamorous city we may think it was. New York City was a desperate and dangerous place, but all the feelings of turmoil came to ahead when the whole city lost electricity. What followed is what some may describe as the Purge come to life.
