Dianne is the founder of Dope Mom Life — a creative content agency creating social media videos and strategy for brands while cultivating a relationship with multicultural communities. “Anything that I do with the rest of my life will be of service to my community.”Dianne was born and raised in Colorado, was an olympic hopeful, and is now a dope mom. Dianne explains to Steph what it was like growing up black in a conservative and predominantly white community, why she left corporate america to start her own business, and the challenges of being a black athlete who loves to be outdoors.“When we don’t see ourselves in certain spaces, we don’t believe we can do it.”Dianne is passionate about holding allies accountable after the hype has diminished on social media — to ensure that white people continue to use their voices when they see racial injustices and to continue to demonstrate that Black Lives Matter. “It’s time for us to continue to hold our allies and accomplices accountable to continue this fight long after this has died down … this is a fight that we have to continue to hold people accountable to because we can never get away from it … the main conversation I’ve been having outside of my community is that I am not new to this, I am true to this, ya’ll are just now seeing this.” Show Links:Dope Mom Life: Creative Content Agency: http://dopemomlife.comDope Mom Life on the ‘gram: https://www.instagram.com/dopemomlife/Fund Black Businesses! https://ifundwomen.com/projects/how-support-fund-black-businesses
