Currently, multiple authorities are responding to an active shooter situation inside the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campuses. There have been reports of multiple shots fired and at least three individuals have been injured possibly more but the exact numbers are unknown at this time. The entire campus is currently on lockdown as law enforcement searches for an Asian male. An alert message has been issued, warning of an armed and dangerous individual on or near campus. Numerous people are taking shelter in place.
