Today on the Deadass Podcast, we are joined by Richard Bertrand, who has over 18 years experience working behind the scenes in the Funeral Industry, transferring deceased persons via road transportation from town to town, interstate and beyond. Richard shares his early life and passion for getting behind the wheel and travelling. Richard shares some of distances he has travelled, the work that is involved to maintain and keep the refrigerated vehicles on the road, clocking up more than over 2 million kilometres on the vehicles. Richard recounts that he personally would of travelled over 5 million kms through his career in the industry around Australia. It was an absolute pleasure listening to some of Richard's stories. I have personally known Richard for many years and it was great hearing them.
