Our July Brighton Business Show show is all about Flexibility and Diversity in the workplace.
As always we looked at the topic from the view of both employees - what are your rights, and employers - what are your responsibilities. And how our expert panel can help us all understand what we need to do and signpost you to the right support.
We covered some tough topics regarding diversity, because whilst we are famous for being LGBTQIA friendly, Brighton is sadly not very diverse when you read the census.
And we discussed how a key impact of Covid has been what employees want and need from employers has shifted, and businesses have to keep up to retain and attract talent.
Ultimately the message is that everyone has different needs, and we need to work on how we support employees to meet those needs as business owners, by building an authentic work culture that is truly inclusive.
