Author Mark Wagstaff spent most of his twenties and thirties drinking and taking drugs. After being forced to change everything after the birth of his eldest child, Mark turned to writing and has just published his most recent novel On the Level. Finding something you love to do during or after a dark time can change everything, as writing has done so for Mark. With an understanding of how challenging it can be to let go and break away, his only regret wasn’t taking, it was doing so much. To Mark a few years would have been enough, not a decade or more, as he does not remember much from those years.
However, without that, he would not be who he is today, and he would not change what he went through.
