Summary: The new police chief vows to clean up the corrupt police department and bring in a new era of respectability to the force. After the new chief is found murdered and the attending physician is killed in the same manner, a criminologist identifies a detective dating the chief’s daughter as the killer. The detective and his girlfriend set out to prove his innocence and find the identity of the true killer before he’s sent away for a crime he didn’t commit.
