In this episode we talk to Alyssa Bermudez who recently published Big Apple Diaries, a middle grade graphic novel that recounts the days when young Alyssa negotiated living in between her separated parents and all the usual middle school concerns... mostly a big crush on a boy. Then the 9/11 terrorist attacks happened changing everything.
