Stacè and Jill are tackling something we've all faced at one point or another - those deep cuts caused by friends, or as they call them, sister wounds. Their new series called Sister Wounds kicks off with the first episode, Opening Sister Wounds, and was sparked by what many of us feel but seldom talk about: the sting of betrayal and the journey towards healing and stronger connections.
They touch on something crucial - the need to recognize how our actions, especially when we're hurt, can impact others. Stacè and Jill believe that working through our own sister wounds doesn't just stop us from inadvertently wounding others; it also helps us forge more understanding and compassionate relationships.
Sharing stories from their own lives, they don't shy away from the tough stuff, like how betrayal can lead us to wall off our hearts as a defense mechanism. Yet, they also talk about the beautiful, albeit hard, journey of healing that can reopen our hearts to the real meaning of sisterhood, all while keeping healthy boundaries to protect our emotional health.
As the series unfolds, they'll bring on guests to share their own unvarnished experiences with sister wounds. The goal? To offer hope and encouragement to anyone on the path to mending trust and intimacy after being hurt.
