She's an expert in who the people called Methodist have been in the past and through the rhyming ways of history has a vision for how it can shape who the church can become. She presents a clear thesis. John Wesley chose to be "vile," to go places that he'd never thought that he'd go. Maybe, we should get back to being vile as well.
