This week's guest is Jim MacArthur. Jim grew up in California in a troubled family with two alcoholic parents, but turned his life around through continuous learning and helping other people. Jim was a clinical professor, psychologist, and counseling director at BYU, teaching for 38 years. He's been married to his wife, Sherri, for 55 years. Together, they have 10 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jim and Kristi go over how to experience pain, learn from it, and then use it to serve. Jim shares wisdom on being a life-long learner, truly caring about and seeing others, and showing up more authentically.
